Deep ruby red purplish hues. A wine of great personality, character, style and body. On the nose there are aromas of red fruits, cherries, plums and spices accompanied by vanilla, chocolate and coffee from maturation in French oak barriques. Firm, round, sweet tannins in the mouth combined with balanced acidity contribute complexity and refinement to this great wine. Vintage 2008 available.

Shallow, very permeable, gravelly alluvial loam soils; north-south row orientation on terraces with a west-east facing slope to the Mendoza River . Altitude: 950: m.a.s.l.
Cold winters, mild springs, warm and dry summers, which, combined with a large diurnal temperature range, provide am ideal microclimate for the production of structured red wines with a long and persistent finish.
First adn second weeks of April
Grapes are hand-picked into 18-kg boxes, clusters are seleceted by hand
Cold maceration: at 5º to 7º C for 8 days Fermentation: Selected yeast at 24º to 26º for 7 days. Post fermentation maceration: At 22º for 15-20 days.
