Finesse and complexity on the nose with hints of cherry in brandy, violet, red berries. The powerful tannins are wrapped in a nice fat during a particularly long maturation which was necessary for this vintage, to obtain a silky wine with good length and salty minerality on the finish.
100% Gamay with white juice, mass selection = conservation and diversification of the genetic heritage of the grape. The age of vines ranges from 50 years + 80 years. No renewal of vines, but replacement of missing vines in order to maintain a high average age, guarantee of quality.
Granite, pink ground is made up of granitic sand, tiny grains of granite matrix coated with a sandy clay. On the hill part, the ground surface is mainly composed of rock and boulders of pink granite. Acid soil, loose, airy and dry.
Temperate, average annual rainfall 700 mm, orientation plots Southeast & Southwest.
