Barbaresco Magallo is a ‘cru’ made from carefully selected grapes produced in low quantity on a single estate vineyard situated inTreiso. Colour: garnet red. Bouquet: pleasantly intense, ethereal. Palate: full, robust bust velvety and harmonious. Persistent wine. Serve with: red meat, games, truffle-flavoured dishes, matured cheese. Serving temperature: 20°C.
We select the best grapes in our own vineyards located in the commune of Treiso. The soil is homogeneous, with a prevalence of calcareous areas
The climatic conditions of the area permit to make a wine with a great structure. Summers are mainly sunny and the rainfall are not so frequent at harvest time
After an initial selection, grapes passed through a crusher and de-stemmer machine. Then begins the fermetation and the maceration: in this period the must is left to soak with the skin at controlled temperature. After that wine is aged at least 3 years in traditional Slavonian oak barrel and then for 12 months in bottle.
