CHATEAU LA GABORIE is located on the highest hilltop of the Ladaux commune, alongside the commune of Targon. The estate belonged to the Lords of Benauge for a long time, and, in particular, to the Count of Barithau. At the time of the Revolution, it was purchased by Mr Jean Ducourt and since then, it has remained in the same family from which Mr Laville, the current owner, is a descendent. No efforts are spared for refurbishing and modernizing the vineyards. Its 15 hectares of uninterrupted vineyards are remarkable due to their exposure, type of soil and judicious choice of vine varieties.
50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc
Classic method under full temperature control, long maceration, ageing over an average period of 12 months.
