A delicate dessert wine with notes of dried peaches and honeysuckle on the palate. A golden yellow colour. Concentrated honey and apricot aromas. The palate follows through with a mixture of tropical fruit. Lingering and velvety aftertaste. Full rounded dessert wine. Enjoy on its own as an aperitif or after dinner with nougat or desserts such as Creme Caramel, Tipsy Tart and Caramelised Lemon Tart. 10 years maturation potential. 13 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.
Harvesting done by hand at 31 degrees Balling. Yield 3 tons per hectare.
Style: Premium quality. Full-bodied, unwooded white wine. Vinification: Cold fermentation. Stopped fermentation with filtration at 70 g/l sugar. Produced from the best fruit available each vintage - hand-selected grapes. Minimal intervention in the natural process of vinification, allowing both the cultivar and the terroir to express their individual characteristics. R/S 100.0 g/l
