Tasting Notes (recommended):Very deep coloured - black cherry tinged with mauve. On the nose, it is delicate and subtle: sweet, spicy, floral notes quickly reveal its elegance. This complex nose comprises hints of peony, ripe red fruits and the faintest touch of pear-drops. The succulent, velvety attack gradually gives way to firm tannins, which display their full power on the finish. Pepper and ripe fruit flavours combine to produce a wine that is both lively and powerful. This well-crafted and dynamic wine has all the structure for a long future. - This is a wine of real distinction, which displays the true elegance of Fleurie. Good solid tannins suggest an aging potential of between 3 and 7 years.
