A sweet white wine, blended from white cultivars and grape juice. A fragrant, sunshine-coloured wine with gentle honeysuckle perfume. Flavours of luscious apricots, nougat and rich tropical fruit salad is followed by a soft, lingering finish. A wine for everyday enjoyment. The perfect sundowner in summer. 60% White Muscadel, 40% grape juice.
Well drained alluvial sandy soil.
12 to 16 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.
Harvesting is done by hand. Night harvested at optimum ripeness. Yield 14 tons per hectare.
Style: A sweet white wine, blended from white cultivars and grape juice. Vinification: Blended. Cold fermentation. Unwooded. Minimal intervention in the natural process of vinification allows both the cultivar and the soil to express the terroir of their origins. R/S: 60.0 g/l
