Notes de dégustation (recommandé):Pale straw colour with a green tinge. On the nose it has perfumes of fresh, crisp apples, with a touch of tropical fruit including pineapple and freshly cut hay. On the palate it is fresh and dry, with a crisp, appley fruit offset by ripe, tropical flavours. Clean and dry to the finish.

Facteurs climatiques pour maturité / conditions requises pour les vendanges:The grapes are grown on dry land, bush trained vines at 500m above sea level. The vineyards are located on a variety of different facing slopes and soil types.

Vinification (fermentation)

Méthode:Chenin Blanc grapes were picked from late January to early February in the cool, early mornings. After a brief period of skin contact (one hour) the free run juice was settled and inoculated with yeast before temperature controlled fermentation at 13°C. The wine remained in temperature controlled tanks until bottling.
