Upfront cherries on nose leading onto palate of blackcurrant succulence, with juicy, ripe fruit and balanced acidity, creating long, elegant finish. Maturation potential: up to 5 years. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Gravelly, well-drained soils, as well as Perdeberg mountain sandstone.
Mediterranean climate with moderate summers and cold, rainy winters. Rainfall approximately 600 - 800mm annually.
By hand. Yield 8 t/ha.
Grapes were harvested at an optimum ripeness of 24░B, inoculated with a pure yeast strain and fermented on the skins until dry. Thereafter alcoholic fermentation was completed. R/S: 3.10 g/l
Before wine was matured in steel tanks.
