A balance of fresh citrus fruits and rich melon characters give the wine a full rounded palate that combines well with a subtle creaminess and nuttiness of the gentle oak. A natural acidity follows through to a fresh and clean finish. Maturation potential: 1 to 3 years. The perfect companion for chicken paprika, fish, and pasta with wild mushroom sauce. New release. Gravelly Karoo soil with some clay and lime fractions.
4-wire Perold trellising system with drip irrigation.
Grapes were harvested at full ripeness. Yield 12 tons per hectare.
Style: A full-rounded white wine in an early drinking style. Vinification: Wine was left on lees for 80 days with 20 % matured on French oak for 6 months to add weight and complexity. Fermentation of 80 % balance took place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. R/S: 5.5 g/l.
