A wine whose name recalls the footmarks left by the pilgrims or Romei who, in the Medieval Age, came from Northern Europe to Rome travelling through this always rich in vineyards area. Obtained from ancient vineyards, with the vernacular name of Nibiò, and from new ones, this red wine appears strongly structured and tending to ruby. Refined in wood and then in bottle belong from an ancient “monovitigno” of the red grape stalks of Nebbiolo Color: An intense ruby coloured. Flavour: rich substance extracted, creamy at the palate with loose tannin, of great balance and extraordinary softness. Taste: rounded and embracing with floral and fruity notes. Brings to mind cherry and bramble flavours together with a light herbaceous, spicy vanilla scent
The Nibio grape of the Dolcetto variety with its red clusters, originates from the Municipality of Tassarolo where it grows in a native, century old vineyard directly at the foot of a hill ante filoserra
