This Merlot - Grenache from the South of France is beautifully soft, fruity and smooth. It will marry well with a broad range of red meat and poultry dishes and is an excellent drink in its own right. Enjoy this wine in a big glass with thoughts of France’s Mediterranean coast. 90% Merlot 10% Grenache
This soft and fruity Merlot tries to evoke everything Alchemy is about. Taking classic French Merlot, tweaking it using modern techniques (micro – oxidization, carbonic maceration) for those softer notes and early appeal, but also trying not to extract all the classic Southern French characteristics of the wine – some nice soft green tannins from the Grenache are apparent but not overly so, the fruit has the classic overtones of mulberries and plums, but there is still some wonderful grip to finish the experience.
