Varietal: 100% Grüner Veltliner from 40-year-old vines in the Rabenstein vineyard Colour: golden yellow Nose: Scents of ripe pear and apple with elegant roasted notes Palate: Good extract and spice on the palate, full and elegant, and a long minerally finish. Food-Pairing: grilled and steamed fish & seafood (!!!), veal steak, tandoori-dishes Vinification: Fermentation in 1000 l barrels (Alliers and domestic oak), matured for 11 months on the lees.
