An elegant wine, distinguished by light peppery scent of deep ripe berries and soft spices, a whiff of wood smoke and tangy savoury fruit with an elegant lingering cherry finish. Will gain in complexity with 3 to 5 years of bottle maturation. A serious wine to accompany fine cuisine. Good with red meat dishes, aged steak, hearty stews, smoked meat and chicken. Harvesting done by hand. Yield 8 tons per hectare.
Style: Premium quality. Full-bodied, oak-matured red wine. Vinification: Produced from the best fruit available each vintage - hand-selected grapes. Fermented in oak barrels for 12 months - 90% French, 10% American. Minimal intervention in the natural process of vinification, allowing both the cultivar and the terroir to express their individual characteristics. R/S 2.8g/l
