Valchri has its origins in the beautiful region of Umbria, central Italy. Our company focuses on the quality of Italian products: our wines are all produced in family-owned vineyards, where the wine making processes are still carried out like our ancestors were used to. Valchri consists of 11 different agricultural businesses with more than 1,000 hectares of vineyards, both owned and controlled by farmer families which tightly work with us. Our vineyards are located in different areas, from plains to hills that extend to over 450 metres above sea level. The vineyards are located in the most important wine-making regions of Italy: Umbria, Le Marche, Emilia Romagna and Sicily. Different climate and soil conditions are the characteristics that make our wines unique and different from eachother. Our wines appelations are D.O.C.G., D,O.C., I.G.T and I.G.P. Our passion for the land, for wine and the satisfaction of our customers lead us to improve our everyday-activity.
Our firm, which still believes in ancient traditions, has placed all of its strength in wine-grape production and an improvement in the wine-making process. Nowadays, our domain aims to highlight and preserve a harmony between the taste, the characteristics of soils and grapes and the vinification while respecting the environment as we perfectly know that the quality of a wine must be based either on impeccable raw material and accurate wine production processes. The grape picking and the bottling process are both managed in the same place in order to preserve the characteristics of the wines and to offer a high reliability of quality of our products. The wine produced undergoes very rigorous controls carried out at local accredited laboratories, where enologists and biologists place the wines under control in the search for quality. Our logistics guarantee you all kind of distribution from all over Italy with very competitive costs, an arrangement which helps our clients and partners save time and money.
