Run by 4th-generation winemakers, Domaine Lauriga, "Sud de France", is located in the heart of Roussillon in the Aspres region, between the sea and the mountains, 30 km from the Spanish border, on shingles soils and clayey-chalky terraces. The vineyards are classified in AOC, planted with typical local varietals -, Grenache Blanc, Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan, Macabeu, Muscat Petits Grains and Muscat d'Alexandrie, around a Catalan "mas" - farmhouse - and a fully renovated winery. The vines are managed on integrated agriculture principles, in total respect of the environment.
The wine from each vineyard is put into separate tanks and blends are then constructed so as to produce wines which will best express their complexity and fruity aromas.
The winery work is done with the utmost respect of the wine and the consumer's health. Our team has been trained to achieve high quality standards and we work toward constantly improving our know-how with the objective in mind of sustainable development. We produce 300,000 bottles per year.
Our work has been recognized and given numerous awards for our AOC Côtes du Roussillon reds and rosé, our Vins de Pays d'Oc varietal wines - Grenache and Muscat Sec - and our Rivesaltes : Muscat de Rivesaltes and Rivesaltes Ambré.
