Tokaj Kereskedohaz is the largest vintner and commercial wine enterprise in the historical Tokaj wine region and considering the predecessors of the winery the company possesses over half a century's worth of wine-making experience, as a consequence of which it has always been a defining actor in the life of Tokaj. The winery currently sells 7-8 million bottles a year giving it nearly 60-70% share of the Global Tokaji wine market. Tokaj Kereskedohaz also often referred as the “The home of the Tokaji” due to its rich traditions and the applied winemaking practice of the winery which still based on the original techniques dating back to 1631. The product portfolio is based on the traditional Hungarian grape varieties such as Furmint, Hárslevelu [Limeleaf] and Sárgamuskotály [Muscat lunel]. The main markets where our wines are traditionally consumed are Hungary, the European community and Russia. Also we have been gladly noting in the recent years that the market of our Tokaji wines in the US., Japan and China are developing on very respectable pace.
