DOMAINE de La Fully is a family estate spanning 10 generations from father to son in the heart of the BEAUJOLAIS region where we make BEAUJOLAIS, BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES and BROUILLY. The estate is worked organically to respect our environment. Our wines are natural, revealing the nature of each plot and appellation.
All our wines are made and bottled on our estate. The vineyards are around fifty years old and planted with the Gamay grape variety. They have been certified ORGANIC for several years and are under conversion to DEMETER certificated by ECOCERT sas 32600 . The harvest is manual, respecting Beaujolais tradition. The pickers sort the grapes at the vine, they are sorted a second time at the end of the row of vines. Vinification is carried out using whole bunches for the all the fruitiness of the Gamay grape to come through, always respecting Beaujolais tradition. Our wines are vinified using semi-carbonic maceration and then matured in old wooden tuns for 6 months.
BEAUJOLAIS is a lively, easy-to-drink wine with fruity aromas and flavours that is at its best when enjoyed cool but not chilled as a partner to simple dishes, delicatessen meats, meals with friends and summer grills. Enjoy it young. In season, it is sold as
BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU with all the charm of a natural wine that is not afraid of showing its ‘terroir’.
BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES is a wine that combines finesse, aromas and body; it can be paired with a wide variety of dishes: pike and other flavourful fish, terrines, poultry, feathered game etc. It can be enjoyed young and cooled, but also gives a very interesting bouquet on ageing. It can be enjoyed throughout the year. It is sold as BEAUJOLAIS VILLAGES NOUVEAU.
BROUILLY is a Beaujolais Cru, it is deep bright red with a supple body and tannins and red berry fruit aromas and flavours that evolve to liquorice over time. It partners red meat and game and cheese when it has aged.
