Logowines is the wine business unit of Lusofinança, owned by two of the most renowned entrepreneurs in Portugal. Logowines shareholders also own Logoplaste, a major European rigid plastic packaging converter, operating 52 plants in 17 countries and 4 continents and serving the largest consumer goods multinationals. Logowines aspires to be a distinctive wine project, blending 4 ingredients for success: 1. Logoplaste shareholders - renowned entrepreneurs with relevant expertise serving large multinationals in 4 continents and with relevant packaging innovation skills (wine in PET market research underway); 2. Relevant assets - vineyards in Alentejo with varietal diversity and much appreciated indigenous Portuguese grapes and a modern and efficient winery with relevant installed capacity; 3. Renowned winemaker - Luís Duarte, best Alentejo winemaker with several accolades won. Led winemaking for several successful projects - e.g., Herdade do Esporão and Herdade dos Grous; 4. Venture capital-like management - lean structure lead by ex-consultants and i-bankers with relevant international track-record and ambition. All in all, Logowines objective is to combine the best of both worlds, preserving the value-added of a country with eight centuries of history, like Portugal, and a singular region, like the Alentejo, with the bold, innovative and cosmopolitan spirit of the New World wine producing countries. Logowines is pretty much open to develop several different commecial collaboration models with its partners / distributors (in what regards target-segments, wine quality, price points, brands, packaging, etc.).
