The countdown has started: in few weeks, exhibitors will be welcoming visitors at the largest wine and spirits market in the world at the Bordeaux Parc des Expositions exhibition centre. The most recent Vinexpo study* forecasts a 3.18% rise in wine consumption and a 2.24% rise in that of spirits by 2014, so this 5-day exhibition will be crucial for the dynamics of both companies and markets.
Major international groups such as Concha y Toro, Baron Philippe de Rothschild or Castel Frères, companies that are active on international markets like Bortoli wines, A de Fussigny and Luigi Cecchi & Figli, regional pavilions including those from the U.S., Italy, Spain and Portugal, etc. and national pavilions such as those of Brazil, Uruguay and Turkey will combine their efforts to showcase a vast range of wines before professional visitors from all round the world.** And spirits will account for nearly 20% of the products on display.
In total, more than 40 countries that produce wine and spirits will exhibit products from Sunday 19 June to Thursday 23 June 2011 in Bordeaux, France.
