Borgo Paglianetto is a company created by the union of two well-established farms working in the viticulture sector: the Pagliano produced the Terra Vignata wines, whilst the Carmine presented wines under the name of Del Carmine. The two companies merged sharing many fundamental values: the attention to the tradition of the oenological products in Matelica, the care in the cultivation of the vines, the continual search for the very best quality in the production of the wines and getting the most out of the land. This union has created a company of larger dimensions (20 hectares of vineyard and 30 hectares of seedbed) able to compete in oenological markets both nationally and internationally regarding its common values of promoting and optimizing local products. At present the company is experimenting with new solutions in the vineyard and new vinification methods to obtain an even more superior product. The vinery houses one structure for the vinification process which uses the most modern technological processes and the storing of the wine that comes from the 20 hectares of vines, while another structure houses the offices, workrooms and a large salesroom.
