The road that winds its way up to the ridge which runs from Alba towards Bossolasco reaches the Cheirello farm, Cascina Cheirello, after several sharp bends.
Visitors are informed of their arrival by two lofty, imposing poplar trees, at apparent odds with the extensive geometry of the vineyards, at the heart of which lies the winery. Carefully set amidst the hills, the farm shares its boundary with what was once the estate of Michele Coppino, who, as Minister of Education in the first Kingdom of Italy, was instrumental in the shok-waves of the risorgimento reaching this small hamlet where he had been born.
Seventeen hectares of vines spread out around the charming farmhouse which is still home to the winery run byStefano Rivetti.
