It has a very dark red cherry colour, bright. Very powerful in the nose, with tones of ripe fruit, wild berries, spices, and great toasted notes showing signs of a very good aging in the barrique. Even being a wine of 14% alcohol, the fruit is so intense, that the alcohol is very well integrated in it, so you do not feel it. In the mouth it is a full-bodied wine where you feel the spicy tones of the Tempranillo variety, combined with some velvety sweet tannins. It is a very long wine, but at the same time very round and with a pleasant and non-aggressive aftertaste. Definitely a great wine.
95 % Tempranillo, 5% Graciano
The grapes are destalked and after that they are sent to stainless steel vats where they ferment at controlled temperature of 28ºC for 18 days. Then the wine is aged in new oak barrels for 18 months (depending on the year). 50% French and 50% American oak barrels. The wine rounds up in the bottle for another year.
