Tasting Notes:BAROLO CHINATO is a wine produced with DOCG Barolo, flavoured with quinine bark, herbs and spices mixed in precise proportions, of which extracts are obtained through maceration in alcohol at room temperature with final addition of sugar. Created in Piedmont in the 19th century, it quickly became popular because of its attactive bitter sweet taste. Consumers appreciate today the balance and harmony of the aromas, the immediately pleasing taste and the long finish. In recent years Barolo Chinato has shown itself to be the best Italian wine match with high quality dark chocolate.
