Very well balanced, it is a full-bodied white wine, with a high alcohol content. Very gentle and smooth. In the nose it has typical aromas of the variety, ripe fruit, pineapple, and elegant tones of vanilla and coconut from the American oak.
Our BOHIGAS Chardonnay is made out of our best vineyards of this variety Chardonnay
Once the grapes have been harvested, they macerate in stainless steel vats for 12 hours. Then the grapes are pressed very gentle, so that we do not extract any green and raw tannins in the most. Then half of the most is fermented in tanks and half of it is fermented with its own lees in 225-liter barrels. The low temperature of our cellar allows us to control perfectly the fermentation temperature right from the beginning. The wine is steered up with the " batonage” method for two months, and after that, blended with the unoaked Chardonnay to get the final wine.
