Château d'Anglès is the family-run estate of former Lafite Rothschild winemaker Eric Fabre, on the exclusive Terroir de La Clape in the South of France. Terroir de La Clape blanc is a very expressive and elegant barrel nursed blend of old-vines Bourboulenc, Grenache, Roussanne and Marsanne. Pale yellow color with golden glints. Very complex nose of white flowers, dry fruits like almonds, chestnuts and sweet spices. Mouth tastes like white fruits (peach) with buttery structure endowed by a nice freshness. Very long after-taste, an impressive wine. It has been rewarded 2/3 Gold Medals every year since 2001 by Decanter, International Wine Challenge, etc.
