Château d'Anglès is the family-run estate of former Lafite Rothschild winemaker Eric Fabre, on the exclusive Terroir de La Clape in the South of France. Terroir de La Clape rouge is a very expressive and elegant barrel nursed blend of old-vines Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. Dark red color with black glints. Very complex nose of red and black ripe fruits and spices. Mouth is full, tasting like jammy fruit, licorice and chocolat, with firm and silky structure endowed by a nice freshness. Very long after-taste. It has been rewarded 2/3 Gold Medals every year since 2001 by Decanter, International Wine Challenge, etc.
