COLOUR: Limpid, deep ruby red with tints of violet. PERFUME: Intense and long lasting, fruity and flowery. TASTE: Dry, warm and pleasantly “hard” when young, rounding out and becoming quite smooth when mature. AFTERTASTE: A long and persistently agreeable after taste. SERVING: Best with red meats and game as well as mature hard cheese. To be served at 18 degrees.
