This is produced from Chardonnay grapes grown on our vineyards located in Vergne Bricco delle Viole, La Volta and Ponte Oca, where the classic Guyot vine-training system is used, lowering the yield but increasing the quality of the grapes. The Chardonnay Buon Padre made its debut with the 1991 vintage; The fermentation is part in vertical wood vats and part in still tanks. It is a straw-yellow wine with golden hues, and has an intense, fruity bouquet, which is full and persistent, and a dry, full-bodied, elegant flavour. It has an alcohol content of 12.5-13 % vol. and total acidity of 6-6.5 ‰.
