Tasting Notes:Deep purple-red, fruity and spicy with first a blackberry and liquorice flavour, then a touch of nutmeg. Very palatable and mellow, but with a delicate contrast of freshness and sapidity. Serve with: traditional pasta dishes and red meat, sheep's-milk cheese and ripe "caciocavallo". Interesting combination with salted-cod in red-pepper sauce and fish soup.
