Colour: Intense ruby red. Aroma: Intense scent of wild black cherry and fruits of the forest, blended with delicate notes of coffee, cocoa, cinnamon and leather. Flavour: Full, warm and well-structured. Table fellows: Pasta dishes with spicy sauces. Char-grilled or casseroled lamb and mutton. Ideal with all roasts and game. Excellent companion for cured meats and semi-matured cheese. Serving temperature : 18° C.

Growing system : Abruzzese bower and spurred cordon rows. Density (grapevines per hectare ): 1800 on bower, 4000 on cordon row. Average production per hectare: 8,5 tons Wine-making system : Steep at lenght with skins at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. First maturation: In stainless steel tanks for 18 months. Maturation: In French oak barriques (80%) and American (20%) new (50%) and of second passage (50%) for 18 months. Ageing : In bottles for 18 months.
