The fruity character of Colombar combined with the grassiness of Sauvignon Blanc makes for a harmonious, delightfully quaffable wine with fruity nose and dry palate. Exceptional lingering aftertaste. Ideal for lazy days on picnic blankets. An easy-drinking wine. Ideal with light meals, pastas, salads, seafood and veal. Recommended maturation 1 to 2 years. Well drained alluvial sandy soil.
10 to 20 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.
Machine harvested. Night harvested at optimum ripeness. Harvested at 21 degrees Balling. Yield 16 tons per hectare.
Style: A crisp, extra dry, fruity blend. Vinification: Cold fermentation, unwooded. Minimal intervention in the natural process of vinification, allowing both the cultivar and the soil to express their individual characteristics of their origin. R/S 2.8g/l
