A dry, well-balanced, harmonious blend, combining the fruity character of Colombar with the roundness of Chardonnay. Citrus and summer fruit on the nose and palate. Soft finish, easy drinking, very fresh and young wine. The Ideal summer drink. Ideal with fish, poultry, lightly spiced oriental food, salads and creamy veal dishes. Ready for immediate enjoyment. 11 to 17 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.
Machine and hand harvested. Harvested at 22 degrees Balling. Yield 16 tons per hectare.
Style: A soft, lightly fruity white wine, made of an unwooded blend. An easy-drinking wine styled for popular appeal. Vinification: Cold fermentation, lightly wooded.
