An ever popular, light, smooth red blend. Nice upfront fruit and berries on the nose and palate. Soft tannins and pleasant lingering aftertaste. Recommended length of maturation 1 to 3 years. A versatile blend to enjoy with most foods, or as a pleasant quaffing wine. Good with red meat dishes, casseroles and flavourful cheeses. 9 year old vines on 4-wire Perold trellising system. Drip irrigation controlled by a computer system through meters and tensiometers.
Harvesting is done by hand and machine. Harvested at 23 degrees Balling. Yield 13 tons per hectare.
