Deep ruby-purple colour, attractive, with purple rims. On the nose there is a complex bouquet, with black berry fruits aromas, spices and minerals hints. Concentrated, full-bodied, good structure and a lingering finish.
100% Tinta del País (Tinto Fino, Tempranillo).
We collect the grapes from traditional vineyards (in bush) situated on slopes over the hills. We don’t spray chemical products, only sulphur as the humidity is low (between 20 or 30%). Our grapes usually get a good ripening and they are very well balanced (sugar, acidity, tannins) thanks to the soil and height (800-860 m. over the sea level). The alcoholic fermentation between 28-30º centigrade is mantained in stainless steel tanks. The malolactic fermentation is made at a controlled temperature in stainles steel tanks. This wine is aged 14 months in American oak casks at underground galleries at a constant temperature of 12º centigrade, and bottled for six months before being on the market. Production: 70.000 bottles 75 cl and 700 Magnum bottles. Rating vintage Consejo Regulador D.O.Ribera del Duero: Very good.
