the colour is ruby red, the fragrance is intense and reminds of brushwood and small red fruits. The full-bodied, dry and pungent taste raise it to an austere and elegant wine.

The soil are semi-rochy, rich in lime and clay.

The wines is produced througt hte careful selection of the red berry grapes Cannonau and Bovaleddu.The vineyards that produce the grapes for Saurecci are cultivated still with traditional systems; vine culture is " ad alberello" ( tree-vine), trimming at very short ness, treatments with sulphur and copper sulphate. The yield per hectare is very low. They are left on the skins for 8-10 days at a temperature of 25à - 28° C. . The grapes are periodically stirred during this period to obtain optimal extraction of the anthocyanins and tannins contained in the skins. Alcohol and malolatic fermentations are completed in stainless-steel vats.
Serving Temperature: room temperature 18°-20° C.
Cellaring: 7/8 years Culinary Suggestions: pleasant accompaniment to flavorful pasta and rice dishes, meats and aged cheeses.
The wine is aged for 24 months in durmast barrels.
