Notes de dégustation:this is a white wine with personality, which resolutely defends its characteristics against the perils of time, allowing it to maintain the highest quality for several seasons. Straw yellow with greenish highlights, it has an ample nose, with an intense bouquet featuring flowers, vanilla, lemon, lily of the valley and bitter apples. Its nicely dry taste is full, well-balanced and elegant.

Terroir:the Rovereto di Gavi hillside has always been considered one of the best for the production of this wine. The red and white soil is sandy, with a high content of arenaceous marl.

Vinification (fermentation)

Méthode:the wine is made in the area where the grapes are grown, as is laid down by the law governing its production. The grapes undergo soft pressing before being immediately separated from the skins. The fermentation is carried out at a low temperature 18°C (85% in stainless steel, 15% in barriques), prior to refrigeration and static racking of the must.

Durée:in steel for 2-3 months, cold stabilization in springtime is followed by bottling. Subsequent refining in the bottle will improve this wine's qualities, making it more well-balanced and elegant. By its very nature - and thanks to the wine-making technique used - it is a white wine which is capable of resisting the passage of time well
