More and more Brazilians drink wine and are eager to learn more about imported products. Despite, complex bureaucracy and regulation, Brazil is still considered a young market with a strong growth potential for foreign wines.

Driving by strong domestic demand, the Brazilian economy is booming. During the last decade, half of the population got out of poverty and joined the ranks of the lower middle class. The increase in personal wealth had a direct impact on the wine industry which enjoys sustained growth thanks to a growing young population that is more educated and affluent.

As Brazilians’ interest in wine increases, so do the opportunities for foreign wines to enter the market.
